One day, a client sat across from me who needed an apartment for his family. His budget was reasonable, and he trusted that the Turkish market would offer him a real opportunity. We found the right property — a family apartment in a good location, at a fair price, with an owner ready to sell.
And at the very moment a deal should have ended with a signature — it ended in silence.
Not because he lost interest. Because the Turkish owner didn't speak Arabic, the buyer didn't trust the spoken translation, the numbers swung between two currencies, and everything was running through WhatsApp messages that hold no promise and document no price. He told me plainly: "I'm tired of this. The feeling that everything is happening behind my back."
Afterwards, I went back and reviewed dozens of past deals, and in every one of them the same scene repeated itself — language barriers, opaque pricing, scattered conversations. The Turkish real-estate market is full of opportunity, but the bridge to it was broken.

I know how a Turkish seller thinks when he hears 'I'll get back to you.' And I know exactly where deals are lost — in the gap between the two.
